The C4IR Qatar Team participated the Global Technology Retreat (GTR) 2025 held by World Economic Forum. The event gathered over 360 leaders from 50 countries, over 30 members from the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Network and over 100 stakeholders from the AI Global Alliance Community. C4IR center heads from the C4IR network convened to reflect on the networks’ activities from the past year, discuss future direction and identify means to widen the initiatives' impact.
Additionally, the event encompassed several panel discussions and workshops providing insights about recent technology trends such as AI agents, robotics, and brain-computer interfaces focusing on their economic and societal impact while providing several deep dives into specific industries. The event culminated in several participations of the C4IR-Qatar team in these sessions and conducting several bilateral meetings with other C4IR Centres such as Saudi Arabia, UAE, Azerbaijan, and Rwanda, where collaboration opportunities across common initiatives and projects were discussed.
